An interactive flat panel produces its own 4K image and stays bright in daylight, while a projector washes out in lit rooms and needs lamps and filters. A consumer TV lacks multi-touch, the OPS slot and the ruggedised glass an IFPD is built with, and its warranty does not cover all-day commercial use. For classrooms and meeting rooms, an IFPD is the lower total cost over a five-year life even at a higher upfront price.
